RESUMEN

Be Yourself is a four-level American English series written especially for high school students in Mexico following the DGB program that focuses on generic and disciplinary competencies It features motivating topics that are relevant to students lives and to the world around them. In Be Yourself, we introduce language in context and ask students to notice and practice language in meaningful ways, using an eclectic approach that incorporates the best from modern communicative language teaching. The series also includes the use of technology as an aid to language learning. Using Be Yourself, high school students are helped to become more autonomous and to think critically about the world and their place in it.
